Pro5consulting

Pro5consulting is a Toronto based IT company that specializes in computer repairs, upgrades, installation and networking. They contacted us to develop a logo and website that would reflect a professional image. We created a modern logo that was simple and elegant. For their website, we created a very clean design and licensed high quality images that reflected the nature of the services they provide. Click here to visit the site.

"Kenneth Young Design took the time to thoroughly research and understand our corporate culture and the image we wanted to project through our website. The finished product looks great—we couldn't be happier. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to our clients."
John Lyn, Lead Consultant, Pro5consulting

Our Philosophy

Plug-ins

Companies sometimes want features for their website that have implications they may not be aware of. One example is having elements that require plug-ins such as the Flash player. The Flash player is often used to implement features such as an opening splash animation or animated navigation system. While the Flash player is found on most computer platforms, it is not universal; in fact, in many corporate environments it is against company policy to have any plugins installed.

We often advise clients to first establish a well-designed site using standard HTML, then later develop a solution involving Flash. At that point, we can implement automatic detection to direct the user to the appropriate site depending on whether or not they have the Flash player installed. Developing a standard site first ensures that the site maintains maximum accessibility from the beginning; users that visit a site that doesn't work properly for them the first time are unlikely to return.
